Is VeloReview free to use?
Yes. Every review, scorecard and comparison on this website is free to read, with no account, no sign-up wall and no newsletter gate. We are funded by commercial arrangements with the brands we list, explained in full on our Disclosure page.
How do you make money if the reviews are free?
When you follow a link to a reviewed brand and go on to open an account, that brand may pay us a commission. It never costs you anything and it never changes your terms. It also does not buy a better score: the scoring criteria are fixed, weighted and applied identically to every brand we cover.
Are the brands you review licensed in Great Britain?
Every brand on this website holds, or operates under, a licence issued by the UK Gambling Commission. We print the licensee name, the account number and the full licence number on each review, and we link straight to the public register entry so you can confirm it at source rather than take our word for it.
What is a white label brand?
A white label brand is a customer-facing name that runs on the licence and technical infrastructure of a larger licensed operator. The brand handles look, feel and marketing; the licence holder handles regulation, funds and compliance. Both brands reviewed here are white labels of ProgressPlay Limited, which is why they share one licence number. We flag this on every review because it tells you who is actually accountable for your money.
How do you score a brand?
Six weighted criteria: licensing and safety, withdrawal handling, bonus terms, lobby depth, mobile experience, and customer support. Each is marked out of ten, the weighting is published on the landing page, and the final figure is the weighted average rounded to one decimal. Nothing is scored by feel.
How often are reviews updated?
Each review carries a "last checked" date. We re-test every brand at least quarterly, and sooner if a licence status changes, terms are rewritten, or readers report a problem through the contact form.
Can I leave a comment or submit my own review?
No. VeloReview does not host comments, forums, user ratings or any other reader-submitted content. Everything published here is written and checked by our own editorial desk. You can still write to us through the contact form and we read everything that arrives, but nothing you send is published automatically.
Do I have to be 18 to use this website?
Yes. This website is intended only for adults aged 18 or over who are legally permitted to gamble in their jurisdiction. Nothing here is aimed at under-18s, and we will not knowingly serve anyone below that age.
What is GamStop and should I use it?
GamStop is the free national self-exclusion scheme for Great Britain. One registration blocks you from every operator licensed to serve British customers, for six months, one year or five years. If gambling has stopped being a bit of fun, registering takes a couple of minutes and is the single most effective step available to you.
Where can I get help if gambling stops being fun?
BeGambleAware runs the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, free and open around the clock. Gamblers Anonymous runs free peer-support meetings across the UK. GamStop handles self-exclusion. All three are linked in our footer and covered in more depth on the Responsible Gaming page.
Do you use cookies?
Only the ones needed to run the website, plus optional measurement cookies that are off until you accept them. The banner in the corner lets you accept or reject with one click, and rejecting costs you nothing: the whole website works either way. Full detail is on the Cookie Policy page.
How do I report something wrong on this website?
Email care@veloreview.co.uk or use the contact form and pick "Correction". Tell us the page and what is wrong. We aim to reply within two working days and we correct errors in place with a dated note rather than quietly editing them out.
Not answered here?
Write to the desk and we will answer properly. If the question comes up twice, it gets added to this page.
Need help now?
The National Gambling Helpline is free and open around the clock on 0808 8020 133. GamStop blocks every British-licensed operator with one registration.
