VeloReview is a commercial publication. Some outbound links on this website are affiliate links. If you follow one and go on to open an account with the brand, that brand may pay us a commission or a one-off referral fee.

This never costs you anything. You are not charged a premium, your terms are not altered, and any welcome offer you receive is identical to the one you would get by typing the address into your browser directly.

What commission does not buy

• It does not buy a score. The six criteria and their weightings are fixed, published on the landing page, and applied identically to every brand.
• It does not buy a position. Our listings are ordered by weighted score, highest first, and by nothing else.
• It does not buy silence. Every review on this website carries a "where it falls short" section, and we will not remove a criticism because a partner asks us to.
• It does not buy inclusion. A brand without a verifiable UK Gambling Commission licence entry is not listed here at any price.

How the desk is separated from the commercial side

Scores are set against the published criteria before any commercial discussion takes place, and a commercial arrangement agreed afterwards does not reopen them. If a reviewed brand's conduct or licence status deteriorates, the review is downgraded regardless of the commercial relationship, and if the licence lapses the brand is removed from the website entirely.

Where the money is disclosed

You will find this disclosure linked in the footer of every page, restated in condensed form on each review, and answered again in the FAQ. We would rather over-disclose than have you find out later.

Editorial independence in one sentence

If we would not send a friend to a brand, we do not tell you to go there either, whatever the commission rate.

No relationship beyond commission

We are not owned by, invested in, or operated by any gambling operator. We are not an agent for the brands we review. We hold no shareholding in ProgressPlay Limited or in any brand operating under its licence.
